Obrist’s batteries offer a module energy density around 200 Wh/kg and around 420 Wh/l, providing extended range and power for PHEVs and BEVs

  • Our battery incorporates thermal insulation, allowing it to operate independently of external temperatures, ensuring consistent performance under all climates conditions and minimizing energy consumption for the battery thermal management.
  • The water-cooled version provides an outstanding temperature stability, achieving a delta temperature (ΔT) of less than 3K at a 4C continuous discharge rate inside the battery, making it ideal for high-power output demand.

With a capacity of 17,3 kWh and a nominal voltage of 360 VDC (range of 420V to 240V), the battery supports a continuous discharge power of 110 kW and peak pulse power up to 200 kWh.

  • The vacuum fixation design eliminates the need for additional fixation components like screws, structures, brackets,etc.  Making the battery lightweight and easy to integrate as a structural component in the vehicle.
  • Battery dimensions are highly compact (159 x 348 x 1005 mm), minimizing required packaging space within the vehicle and enabling greater flexibility for automotive manufacturers.

Reduced materials and simplified module design lowers materials and production costs, making our battery solutions more affordable without compromising on performance.
